It would be nice to have a more flexible search pattern. Now it seems to be only a string comparison.

If you have hundreds of items like me it could be hard to find the item I wan't because I can't remember exactly the spelling I used to create the entry.

Example: I have many entries with "ftp" and many entries with "work". It would be create if the search finds something like "FTP exchange | work"

Thanks for the suggestion, but I don't think it really fits with the design. The idea here is to provide a quick lookup of an entry by typing a few characters, not a tool for performing queries and detailed searches over your database.

I think your use case of trying to find a specific entry that contains multiple terms would be better suited to the main Find feature. It could probably be done now with sufficient regular expression skill, but there is certainly an argument to add a simplified option for "all words" or "any words" to assist with this.

I am not going to put regular expressions or syntax into AutoTypeSearch. Think of it more like the autocomplete in your browser's address bar than the query tool for a database.

I also think it is not necessary to offer regex, but "all words", "any words" and "exact match" (like now) would be great.

Main search function is sadly not suited because it can't be use within auto type. I would have to search the entries before use and apply them manually. I think that destroys the workflow which is intended for Keepass with auto type.
