Every time I open the update update check the status for this plugin is the same: failed.

EDIT: I wanted to report all the plugins I was having issues with, seems like you're the author of the 3. The other 2 failing are CheckPasswordBox and WebAutoType.

If you want check for updates to work (for any of my plugins), you have to install SourceForgeUpdateChecker plugin too
