A serious fault in the Autoplot website has prompted a quick migration to the new server, for which a bunch of work had already been done. This is looking very good, and I want to document what needs to be done.
gallery and link to gallery.
link to cookbook on github.
search which forwards over to github search. (Though it's nice to record the search term so I can see what people are asking)
Item 4. There are still lots of internal references to documentation which need fixing, basically anything that links to http://autoplot.org/PAGE. It's tempting to fix this with the website, automatically redirecting such links to the https://github.com/autoplot/documentation/md/PAGE.md. Short of that, it would be straight-forward to search for these links.

If you would like to refer to this comment somewhere else in this project, copy and paste the following link:
I asked Bob if he could retrieve things off of the laptop. Here's a list of missing items which I did not have a local copy of.
Note that https://web.archive.org/ has some resources. Here is a list of the data directory contents, though most cannot be retrieved there: https://web.archive.org/web/20230523161902/http://autoplot.org/data/

Item (2) cookbook is done.
Item (1) (gallery) is done, where the script can be run on the machine on campus containing all the releases.
Item (3) could be done by setting up a proxy which redirects to
https://github.com/search?q=repo%3Aautoplot%2Fdocumentation+bash&type=wikis
where "bash" is the search term. The wiki is a bit of a mess, but it should be a reflection of the content developed in the "documentation" area.

data/vap and data/tutorials are still missing. I think Bob provided a copy of these areas, and I need to check my emails to see if I can find this.
Larry set up a cgi-bin which captures the search keywords and then sends the keywords over to github to search the wiki.

Item 4. I found that where the Markdown /LaTeX engine misfires can be resolved with

$(subsec;places=6)
(4) Larry set up redirects from the landing page to github, so autoplot.org/PAGE redirects to https://github.com/autoplot/documentation/md/PAGE.md.
At this point the ticket could be closed...

...but Larry has proposed a cleaner version of the site which works better on phones. https://ljg.spacephysics.org/autoplot/
