The Das2Server has a resolution parameter which tells the server to reduce the data resolution before sending it. This is useful in scripts where normally the intrinsic resolution is sent. Sometimes, this would result in an out-of-memory error in the client. If the URI is hacked to change "interval" to "resolution" you can see that the client software does support this. Therefore the "interval" should probably support setting the "resolution" parameter for non-calculated (TCA) datasets.

This was done, where it will request data no finer than specified by the resolution. Note the server contract is to provide data at at least the resolution requested, so a somewhat finer resolution might be sent over.

minResolution was added for this ticket, and I believe that it is the control (not the feedback) for the resolution.
