What is it?

The goal of this application is to secure important files or directories of a home computer. Autonome Backup is a genuine backup tool extended with a backend that is controlled by the tool itself. This allows the user to backup files in an automated way. The backend is switched on only when backups are being done. The backend itself is used as a circular buffer to store files on. Files are kept as a compressed copy or as increment.
