automysqlbackup-users

[Automysqlbackup-users] [PATCH] autopostgresbackup

Hi!

At ftp://ftp.fl.priv.at/pub/autopostgresbackup/ you can find:
  - a patch to convert automysqlbackup to autopostgresbackup
  - the already patched script now called autopostgresbackup.sh

Notes:
  - SEPDIR=no is currently not supported!
  - patch also available via
      http://sourceforge.net/tracker/?group_id=101066&atid=628966

PS: How about supporting both databases with just one script?

Thats cool.. :)

I don't have a problem creating one script for both DB's, unfortunately 
I don't have a postgress box to test it with and i don't know postgres 
all that well but I am sure it could get there in the end..

The differences of MySQL and PostgreSQL are basically
  * how to get the list of databases
  * how to set the password
  * pg_dump has some only some different parameters
  * pg_dump does not support export of more than one database at a
    time therefore for SEPDIR=no extra code would need to be added

Forgot to add just have a look at the patch.

PS: For postgres testing you now know who to talk to ;-)
