Using Debian Squeeze. Did nothing but apt-get install automysqlbackup. Where do I begin to look for the problem?

The only thing I can think of is that my DATA-DIR for mysql is not /var/lib/mysql it's actually on another harddrive /mnt/250GB/mysql
