thanks. 5.17.1pre2 worked. (pre1 was already gone when I checked.)

I have just uploaded 5.17 (plus filterdiff -i '*/autoopts/*' on GIT
commit eeab9acaf3a44ff82f76efaf17d55e01e999477b) to Debian
experimental. Let's see if it builds on non-ix86, too.
