[Autogen-users] autogen gives symbol lookup error . . .

Hello Again,

I don't know what I've done to my system, but I'm guessing Autogen must be reading some template files by default.

If I run 'autogen' (no parameters) from anywhere on my system I get:

autogen: symbol lookup error: autogen: undefined symbol: snv_vasprintf

This is after removing and reinstalling autogen with Debian apt-get.

Anyone know how to track this one down?

It comes from autogen's libsnprintfv, which should be "included" by your
libopts library.

Hi Geof,

Thank you for that.  This is clumsiness on my part.  libopts is in my
search path and it normally contains the snv_vasprintf() so I didn't
notice my goof.  This is fixed in 5.11.3 on gnu.org.  Sorry about that.
