[AuthPG] case-insensitive passwords

Has anyone figured out how to do case-insensitive passwords?  My users are 
less computer-literate than your average computer users and they're having 
a hard time getting their account info entered correctly.  I'm trying to 
make this as easy for them as possible and it would be great if I could get 
at the password they enter and force it to lower case...  Is this possible?
