It worked for me. I took my computer out of the NT domain into a workgroup without realizing I didn't have a local administrator account. I wasn't able to switch back to NT Domain because I couldn't login.
So I used your tool to reset Administrator password, with success. Another tip: you can backup the SAM database of a Windows XP with a Windows 2000 CD using recovery consol without the need for a password. Maybe creating a backup of SAM should be done autmatically in your tool.
Anyway, thanks !!!
Pardon me! But can I ask where the English conversion button is on the software?
can i ask where u typed the nt_pass cuz i know thets wot u have to type but i dont know where
can someone please help me burn austrumi to cd. I have downloaded the iso file.

I want to get the administortor password with nt_pass but it asks me the full path to registry directory? What is that? Please answer asap. Thanks
Anyway i had two atempts with 0.9.2, at the boot: nt_pass then enter, keep with the default settings, ie keep hitting enter, finally type in the admin username, then 1 - to change
the password, next enter * to set password to blank.finally enter ! to quit and before you exit you'll be asked to'save' select 'y' for yes, then its cntrl > alt >del...on a reboot windows will run a disc check (just let it run), after another
(auto) reboot at the user screen just click on the admin user and you are in!
