A from-scratch desktop environment running entirely client-side:
- kernel: animated boot, typed EventBus, process table, settings
- window manager: drag, 8-handle resize, minimize/maximize, cascade
- virtual filesystem: POSIX-inspired (ls/cd/mkdir -p/cp/mv/rm/grep/tree)
- terminal: 36+ commands, history, Tab completion, redirection, ANSI colors
- 14 apps: Files, Editor, Calculator, Paint, System Monitor, Browser, Minesweeper…
- system snapshots: save/restore the whole OS state as a .aurora file
- 5 themes + animated wallpapers, procedural WebAudio (no audio files)
- zero runtime dependencies, no frameworks
