I think the best would be to append audio to the longest track; if more than one, to the first of selected ones; if none selected, to the first stereo track, leaving silence in between if it happens not to be the longest one. And if, because of the harware, recording cannot be performed in all chnnels, this should be just informed. I think this a better behavior than just losing a good recording because hardware doesen't match tne number of tracks. Perhaps option should be given to label new recording so it is easier to move around if it isn't where intended. Federico Miyara |
