If you can provide me with a reproducable test case > I will fix it. > > Erik Well, after reading and reproducing bug #311 I just felt that ppl are missing something: "Bug 311 - slow export from ogg to all formats" Wrong. - It's not the ogg export that is broken, it's the ogg import. And an ogg track is slow not just on export. I used oggenc to encode a 13min file (30s) where audacity took minutes. Both resulting ogg files are the same (checked md5sum) Now import both, the flac and the ogg into the same project, now try any filter (eg. normalize) on the tracks. U will see, that filtering the ogg track is much slower then filtering the flac track! chris |
