Dan, according to 'GetAllMenuCommands' there is no menu command for creating tones. However, there is a batch command named 'Tone' which inserts a default 440Hz sine tone into a track when issued. But it seems that this command doesn't accept any parameters (for example: 'Tone: Waveform=Square Frequency=1000 Amplitude=0.3 Duration=0.140' just insert the standard sine tone).
