Would there be a problem with "fixing" the wxWidgets source code so that in its autosizing routine it takes into consideration the width of the header text as well as the width of the widest text in the entries? That should not require any great effort (he says while firmly sticking his foot in his mouth)! -Ed Musgrove ________________________________ From: Gale Andrews ga...@au... One workaround solution might be to hardcode the width of the Command column to something like 270 or 300, then autosize the Key Combination column but shorten the column text (e.g. to "Binding") so that it does not get truncated. Then the issue depending on the OS/dpi is the width of the redundant third column rather than the redundant horizontal scrollbar. Or, hardcode both columns with about 100 on the column for the key combination. Subjective judgement whether the redundant column or redundant scrollbar is more objectionable, my view being the scrollbar. | From Ed Musgrove <edg...@ya...> |> > I feel that this is a design flaw (or bug) in wxWidgets. |
