Thanks. I'd think the menu item would have to stay because it's much
easier for VI users (or others who prefer to avoid the mouse if possible). 
Also the current icon for the button may not convey what it does to 
everyone, and it may be hard to devise something as obvious as the 
magnifying glass for zoom. If you're going to attempt a visualisation of
a track, it might be better if you had the chains above each other instead 
of left and right?
