I've had some mail with Dave Mazzoni. He gave me some ideas what usefull improvements should be done. One of his ideas was real time effect support, wich itself to fully implement -including the required UI improvements- isn't so easy, but I could't start to refactor the codes of the effects, wich should have realtime function, and doesn't require too much lookahead. In this point of view, implementing a kind of automation should be a next step, but after implementing the real time function... So if that is possible, I'd rather work on the real time function, Dave said, to demonstrate the concept, I should implement a real time 5 band equalizer. So I'll go for it.
