That looks very strange to me with that length of box, though. Losing "Enter" is fine with me as the cursor is in the text box. We are inconsistent about this in Preferences (see Audio I/O where text is after the box, Quality where it's in the text in the box, and Spectrograms where it's before the box). We also have a consistency problem that the style in type 3 Nyquist plug-ins has moved the value [in square brackets !] to left of the entry box. Again I think the length of the box and/or control is the issue - to put the unit after a box and a slider really does not look good to me. But if units is after a small box as per Audio I/O preferences it possibly looks better than if units is before the box. I see a general tendency to dialogues being too wide and buttons too large (another kind of verbosity). Gale |
