And why is only FTP on the list? Why not any of the other thirty transfer methods, some of which are actually secure (unlike FTP, which broadcasts your password to anyone running tcpdump)? Maybe we should just build in a web browser too! It's so annoying to have to go open IE all the time while editing music! [CD extraction!? CD EXTRACTION!? What's wrong with using one of the well established high quality tools that already does this? ARGH! Paging Captain E. J. Smith...] Doesn't it make a litle more sense to just recommend an application that already does this, and does it better, for people who don't already have one? Monty |
