I've been working with audacity to transfer some cued round dance music
from tape to digital. I use audio hijaak to capture, and audacity to
clean it up and in some cases, where the music tempo is to fast for the
older folks that we dance with, to slow it down. But it's an unwieldy
process, and it would be nice to preserve the music as originally cued,
and adjust the tempo and pitch during presentation. I know that there
are programs to do this, but the only ones that I've seen are for
windows and I'd like to use my mac laptop. If anyone could suggest or
point me in the direction of appropriate software, I'd be grateful.
