I just want to tell everyone that that's exactly how I record to
Audacity. Im using a Behringer 1604A using the low level outputs(the RCA
main outs) using high quality RCA cables to the input of my Turtle Beach
Santa Cruz sound card. I then use a stereo adapter to convert the RCA to
the 1/8inch stereo line input . I then set my levels so that "0" on the
mixer equals about 80% of peak on Audacity. That way you have some
head room in case some peaks should get away from you during the
recording process, unless you have access to a comp/limiter you can put
ahead of the sound card. Also remember that most sound cards line level
is based on the -10dbv level = 0vu. Don't use mismatch your levels or
you can have all sorts of noise and distortion issues.

Keep up the great work!!! I'm looking forward to the finished product!!!!!!
