On Windows, you can't generally speaking record more than two channels
simultaneously without using
drivers, which Audacity as distributed does not support. You can compile
Audacity yourself with ASIO support if you don't distribute the build to
A few sound devices have MME/EWDM drivers that support
multi-channel recording and these will in principle work with Audacity.
To record two different sound sources on separate tracks using a two-channel
sound device, see
here . Once you have the separate tracks in Audacity, click on each in turn
and File > Export Selection As, or if you have a large number of tracks,
it's quicker to do File > Export Multiple.
