Oops, forgot to mention
Im using the planet ccrma / Fedora 2 kernel
2.6.7-1.437.1.11.rhfc2.ccrma with alsa 1.0.5a
I just compiled Audacity 1.2.3 but am having stability problems. The
compile proceeded without error but Audacity often bombs out with a
Segmentation fault. The problem seems to be associated with the menu
system. Even doing something as innocuous as clicking "about" under the
help menu crashes the program. I actually did two compiles, the first
without any options, the second time I used --disable-gtk2 and
I can load a wave file and play it back but the "transport" controls
become stuck in "play" well after the sound has finished. I have to
explicitly click the stop button to regain control.
