I want to run Audacity 1.2.0pre3 for MacOS X with the german
localization. When I started the program for the first time, I chose
german as language, and after that, the program crashed.
I then removed the preference file and started the program again. This
time, I chose english as language, and the program worked properly.
Here my question:
Is it not yet possible to run audacity with the german localization, or
is there probably any problem with the configuration of my computer
(I'm using MacOS X 10.3.2 on a G4 PowerMac 867 MHz, 1 GB RAM)?
Thank you for your answer and thanks anyway for the great program!
PS: Please excuse my bad english!

Try my last update of the german audacity.mo. Maybe you'll get Audacity
running by using this file.
Just copy the audacity.mo from the zip file over the old german one. If
you want, feel free to download the ZIP from:
Hope that will help you.
PS: If u want to contact me because of questions or other things, pls.
don't use my (old) contact addresses in the README. In the next version
of the German language files I'll update the readme. :-)
