I'm Ikanimo, a Japanese who downloaded Audacity 1.2.3 few days ago.
I use it on Windows 2000 SP4 (Japanese).
Audacity crashed and Windows reboot suddenly when I changed preferences of
First time, I chose language to "Nihongo". But characters weren't displayed
So I want to change language "Nihongo" to "English". And, I did.
Just then, Windows reboot against I wished.
Preferences are not changed when I started Audacity again.
Next, I open preferences, and I close it by "OK" button without changing.
The result is the same.
I tried to change registry of Windows, too.
I changed "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Audacity\Locale\Language" is "ja" to
Next, I started Audacity. Then, Windows reboot before it start completely.
I guess the trouble happens when Audacity writes something to registry.
But it doesn't happen another PC installed Windows XP Home SP2 (Japanese).
Possibly it may be caused my PC hardware or software.
Environment of my PC which is happen the trouble:
OS: Windows 2000 Pro SP4 (Japanese)
CPU: AMD Athlon 64 3200+
Motherboard: AOpen AK89-Max
Graphic Board: ATI Radeon 9600 Pro
