I have Audacity 1.2.4 and Windows XP service pack 2.
I can=B4t get the Audacity closed by clicking the X in the right upper=
The only way to get it closed is trough Task Manager.
Can this problem be solved?

Click Edit > Preferences > Interface and check "Quit Audacity upon
closing last window" then Audacity will close when you click on the=20
[X] in the top right or on File > Close, or File > Exit. If you leave that
option unchecked Audacity will only close when you click File > Exit.=20
It is sometimes useful to leave the option unchecked so that if you close
all Project windows in order to start on another Project, the program
does not then close on you so you have to restart it in order to open
your new Project.
