Subject: Gaps in recording
I have consistent, evenly spaced, very short gaps in my audacity =
recordings and any video files I play also jump the picture and sound =
the same way at the same frequency. It seems my system does this to all =
things I do. I've tried closing most applications, cleaning the =
registry and defragging , but these have no effect. I don't seem to be =
able to find how to check DMA is selected for the IDE controllers as =
well. What else might it be? Any suggestions will be greatly =
appreciated. My system runs on a Intel P4 / 2.4GHz (ABIT SG-72 =
motherboard) with 256mb ram using Windows ME.
