What should happen now with opening 1.0.0 files? I created a Project in
1.0.0, and when I opened it in 1.3.4, instead of the dire warning, I got
confirmation the Project was being converted to the new format and a
backup copy of the original saved. I still got consistency errors and
when I chose to "continue without deleting" and then "regenerate summary
files", Audacity crashed. If I choose instead to "fill in silence", there is no
crash but about 20 seconds of audio in one channel is replaced with silence.
Under what circumstances should the "dire warning" appear ; and when it
does, is the default button now "no" as appears to be the case from
Project.cpp? Changing the default to "no" is still an "aim to" on the Checklist.
