Thank you for your help.

Hi Atsushi, Gale, Vaughan and all,

Atsushi, I've removed the '\r' characters from the .po after the update.

Hope that helps,
Olivier

Thanks everyone!

I agree with Oliver that Poedit doesn't remove \r automatically and I will use an external text editor.

Oliver, you mentioned that you removed \r characters.   Did you do so in POT file before updating the new PO file?   Or, you did so in the PO file after you updated it with the given POT file (which includes \r)?

Best regards.

thanks for this clear explanation (and the link) Vaughan, it makes it easier to understand what it's about.

I'm using poEdit on a TangoStudio (which is a Ubuntu 10.04 customized as an audio studio, please see http://tangostudio.tuxfamily.org/en/tangostudio for more information), and poEdit didn't remove the '\r' by itself. I've had need to remove the '\r' character from the EN strings with the help of an external editor.
Maybe there is a possibility to configure/set-up poEdit to do so, if so, please, let me aware as it could be very useful!

And yours!

Cheers,
