#858 Layout plugin strange behavior

My setting. I have two graphs G1, G2 sitting at the top level of the hierarchy. This is accomplished, for instance, by opening a second graph G2 after launching a session with G1.

I have a layout algorithm in a python view. When I run the code on a G2, the layout of G2 is not affected.

If I delete G1, everything is back to normal.
