Three new modules for ATutor 2.0 were release today. They can be downloaded from the ATutor module site at the link below, or they can be imported directly from atutor.ca using the ATutor administrator's Module Manager. For more about modules, or to download them, visit:
*New ATutor Modules*
*Assignment Drop Box*
This module extends the current Assignments tool, and the File Storage utility, providing a quick way for learners to submit assignment files, and a quick way for instructors to provide feedback on submissions and gather submitted assignments for review.
This module adds another level of access to ATutor: Employers. Employers, who may not be registered on an ATutor system, can setup an employer account through which they can post job opportunities. Learners (or instructors) can search through available jobs, bookmark those of interest, and subscribe to job categories to receive notices when new jobs are posted. Administrators can manage employers, job postings, and job categories.
For sites that require users to agree to a license, a disclaimer, or to other legal requirements before using ATutor or accessing ATutor content, the disclaimer module can be installed, and a custom legal statement added. When a new users registers, or logs in for the first time, they must agree to the legal requirements.
