#531 Manually adding radio stations to XML file doesn't work
I'm running aTunes under Win7 and am attempting to add all the Soma FM stations to the radio list (I notice one or two are already there. I have followed the instructions at http://www.atunes.org/wiki/index.php?title=Propose_new_radio_stations, manually adding the details (as per the attached file) but the new stations do not appear in the radio list.
On inspection I found that there was no "radio.xml" in the C:\Program Files\aTunes\settings folder, but there was a "preset_radios.xml" file. I tried adding the new stations directly to to that file as well but they are still not added.
I'm afraid that documentation is not updated. Try the following:
- Copy "preset_radios.xml" to C:\Documents and Settings\your_user\application data\aTunes
- Open file and add stations
- Start aTunes
Anyway remember this option is to add a large number of stations. To add stations one by one just go to Tools -> Add radio
