#1 ATPad does not release folders of closed files ...

Greetings.
I just experienced (again) where I could not delete a folder with subfolders because ATPad was open and had been viewing a txt file in one of the subfolders. ATPad was open with no open files but had/does not release the directory of previously viewed files until one closes ATPad. Seems to me ATPad should release the files and its directories when the file is closed - not when ATPad is closed ...
