#15 Updated source for El Capitan

Downloaded this for use on my Mac running El Capitan. It did not compile. Spent a few hours going through the code and updating it to fix any warnings and errors during compile. Other than some basic testing I have not validated functionality (that is, it is supplied AS-IS, use at own risk).

It now compiles cleanly using the build script. A copy of my src directory is attached. Most changes are marked with "// ged". The ones that are not should be limited to the representation of the copyright symbol as \u00A9.

Some logic had to be changed - look for it in the changes. I have NOT updated it to be 64 bit compliant.
