A3D is not a plugin based engine.
Only some key modules will be plugins.
For example: VFS, Renders and shaders.
I think OS independance must be done at compile time and not at runtime, so
OS plugins are really out of question.
About poor performance, you´re write but,
a) Don´t compare CS with A3D, they are different,
they have distinct concepts.
b) It causes very, very little overhead. I´m satisfied with actual plugins
system.
Col Det and Objects will be added. Be pacient.
I have a step by step order to make the things, OK ? if not..., I´m fucked. :)
I like your idea about plugins for shaders.
