Dear Developers,
I was using the atl1 driver that you've developed successfully under an Ubuntu 7.04 xen kernel 2.6.19-101 built by Cedric (http://cedric.gabriello.fr/ubuntu/)
Cedric released 2.6.20 xen domu kernels a few weeks ago. I immediately downloaded the new kernel and started to use it. However, there's a problem with the atl1 driver.
Normally, in Ubuntu 2.6.19 xen kernel, driver version 2.0.7 does not work well, but 2.0.6 works OK. I've been using this one since weeks with no issues.
The driver inside 2.6.20 xen kernel of Cedric is 2.0.7, which is included by Ubuntu developers inside this kernel. With this config:
- the driver enables the interface, gets the statically assigned IP. may or may not ping the first router in the network. Can never establish any connection
I tried the 2.0.6 driver as I did in 2.6.19 kernals, without success. Similar symptoms.
My syslog logs a lot of these:
Jun 9 16:49:02 xen kernel: [ 657.782059] atl1: TX busy
Jun 10 13:48:11 xen kernel: [ 40.535288] atl1 0000:03:00.0: Unable to enable MSI: -1
Jun 10 13:48:11 xen kernel: [ 41.384069] atl1: eth0 link is up 100 Mbps full duplex
(but it never actually works)
I'm willing to provide any information you may request from my side for debugging.
Thanks for anyinsight or resolve for the problem. I'm currently using a USB 10/100 ethernet without problems.
Thanks,
Best regards,
Fast

Even I faced the same problem with 2-6-20 Fedora 7 xen kernel. It works fine with the default Fedora core 7 2-6-21
kernel. Ie the problem happens only with the xen kernel.Yum update also did't give the result.
