Is Athelia a Minecraft clone?
No, it is not. However, it is inspired by Minecraft. Athelia is a realistic survival game, using a blockplacer engine, while Minecraft is a blockplacer with some survival elements. That's what makes Athelia different from minecraft, together with lots of different features, such as realistic water behaviour, some RPG elements, mechanical systems, etc.
What do you mean by 'realistic'?
We try to make the setting of the game, and how the world behaves, as close to reality as possible, while keeping in mind that the game has to stay fun to play. So this does not mean the game will look realistic, for example. Some things were this realism can be noted: Athelia will have real-world mobs, such as wolves and bears. These will be encountered in ther natural habitat, so in a forest you can encounter deer, while in a desert there will be scorpions(no giant scorpions though). Also during daytime it is dangerous in the woods, while large open plains are fairly safe, even at night.
