ATGC will participate in MCCMB’07

ATGC is new application for nucleotide sequence analyses of different kinds. Initially developed to perform exon alignment, now it in addition includes algorithms for consensus, repeats and palindromes search, emulation of restriction, docking sequences into contig, ORF search and amino acid sequence prediction. As one (but not the only) special features, ATGC implicates the abstract model of logical operations (conjunction, disjunction and negation) with nucleotides. This model is used in algorithm for docking sequences, and it can be used for exploration of variable regions within orthologs in evolutionary genomics.... read more

Introducing ATGC Application

Introducing ATGC - new toolkit for various analyses of nucleotide sequences!

Here is a piece of what has ATGC got to please a user.
1. Fast search of consensus subsequences (based on method of expanding regular expressions).
2. Docking sequences with homological edges into contig.
3. Finding ORFs within sequence and predicting polypeptide product.
4. Exon alignment using cDNA and genomic DNA sequences as source data.
5. Ability to perform alignment and docking manually, which is simplified due to user-friendly interface and graphical sequence representation.... read more
