#84 Aterm stops working between beta3 and beta4

Hi gals & guys

I had version 1.0.0.beta2 installed and and had
problems with the Free Pascal IDE. Before starting to
complain, I thought it best to install the latest
aterm. To my surprise version 1.0.0 does not work at
all... So

- went back to version 1.0.0beta3: works
- advanced to version 1.0.0beta4: stops working

With 'not working' I mean: The window appears,
transparency works, but no other window contents at all
is shown (no even the prompt).

I'm using the xfce window manager, Xorg X11...

Any suggestions/test I can run?
