#57 PATH variable content lost during Asymptote installation (in Windows 7)

Hi,
I have tried to install the Asymptote program ("asymptote-2.44-setup-i386.exe", in Windows 7, 64bit). Unfortunately, after the installation, all the content of the system variable PATH was changed to contain only the path to the Asymptote directory in Program Files directory and the other directory paths (including the LaTeX one) were lost. Is there possibly a bug in the installer or has anyone any idea what I could do wrong? Thank you.
