I am drawing lines on my plot. I wish to draw the line from pair p (graph coordinates) to p+dp where dp.x and dp.y are specifed in say cm and not graph coordinates. For example I am plotting exterior dimension and extension lines for horizontal and vertical dimensions and I want to set the length of the lines to be say a value in cm and not depend on the graph coordinates. I saw the Scale function which goes from graph to user coordinates. Is that what I should use to determine the length of my lines in graph coordinates or is there a better way? Is there a good "detailed" write up on coordinate conversions in Asymptote (both directions). In the Asymptote pdf document information is scattered all over the place.
