Hi guys, Just wondering - what is the current status of AsUnit in the Flash 8 IDE? I know that the JSFL commands on the version I've got (latest stable release, AFAIK) have problems, as there seems to be some version checking code which fails with this message: >> To use this feature, you must update your installation of Flash to Version 7.2 or greater. Go to http://www.macromedia.com/flash to find the updater. Not a huge problem, as I usually create these classes via Eclipse templates= . However, I'm not totally sure that the UI panel is connecting to the testsuite - none of my asserts are shouwing up, even though the identical setup works fine in MX 2004. Has anyone else noticed this, or is it just a problem on my side somewhere? Cheers, Alias |

Alias, The status of AsUnit for Flash 8 is that it's done - mostly at least.=20 Luke and I haven't posted it yet mainly because we've been too busy.=20 We've been migrating AsUnit to AS3. It's coming along nicely. Let me send you the build I'm using. It should work for you in Flash 8 authoring. I'll send it to you off list. If it works for you, Luke and I will probably go ahead and release it. Thanks for the heads up. Hi Ali, The build you sent me seems to work fine. I'd say release it - I had no immediate problems.
