I'm attempting to use AT to talk to BYEOS and Stellarium & Stellariumscope to allow me to better aim my SCT at dim objects with a legacy (read non-ASCOM) Meade mount. Initially, I was able to solve some of my .fTS images and also some .jpg images with minor changes to the Sigma value, but curiously, AT started coming back with an error message that reads; "ERROR: Image type not recognized." The files on my pc have not changed and are consistently either .fts or .jpg which are included in the drop-down menu box in file types from the capture & solve "choose file to solve" window. Is there other information that I can provide that will help anyone to diagnose my inability to even have the file recognized, let alone solve it?
Thank you,
Dale

Is it possible that AT v.6 has changed the "Custom Options" from "sigma" values to "down sampling" values? I now have v.6 on my system and if I try to enter any value after a sigma term in the Custom Options" line, I'll receive an Error: File type not recognized message during an attempted solve. A Sigma value is the correct term to use apparently, in v.5, but not so in v.6. Is that correct? Is there a place to read up on the various parameters that can be entered in any of the "Solver box" lines? These are crucial values that will determine weather or not an image solves.
Thank you,
Dale
