Hi guys,
I have installed the 64bit version and need to move to the 32bit version. I have already installed all the files. I have a very slow Internet connection so it took an eternity to load everything. I would like to know if I could get away with just downloading the 32bit version of astrotortilla or if I have to do everything again?
Many thanks,
Gordon

Uninstalling AT doesn't remove anything else but AT itself. Cygwin and index files are kept, and you are notified that those have can be deleted if you don't use them for anything else.
So in your case, uninstalling the 64-bit version and installing the 32 bit version should work like a charm, just uncheck the cygwin and index download boxes. You may need to update some bits of config by hand to point to the cygwin installation if it's not in C:\cygwin\, but don't quote me on that. It should try to autodetect where cygwin is, but it's not guaranteed to find it.

It does sound like the QHY drivers are missing the 64bit declarations and your setup tries to invoke the 64 bit ASCOM.
When you use the camera with other software, do those connect directly to the camera or do they use ASCOM as well? In general there's no need to connect AT directly to the camera, it's often better to feed the images from the imaging app, so you don't need to change application setup in the middle of the night.

Hi Antti, I use SGPro for acquisition with no problems...I really saw this as the next step. I have left word on the qhy forum with no response except for another guy who had a similar problem with no resolution after 3 months. I believe there is a way of using just Cygwin and the astrometry.net files with SGPro, so will look into this....royal pain! Thanks all the same.

Cheers for that. Will post how I get on.

Hi Antti, I downloaded version 0.4.3 but I am getting the same error message. Any ideas?
