Actually, I can install Trixbox, which includes CentOS/FreePBX/Asterisk on a
VMWARE image in about 20minutes with almost no interaction required.

I'd like to at least be able to use the sip.conf and extensions.conf files.
Parsing all the *_additional.conf files into them.

Unfortunately, FreePBX also has its way with astdb along with use a 
bunch of AGI's and therefore even more files. On the surface, it looks 
like it would work, but the rest of the iceberg is lurking below.

p.s. It's also harder than it looks to "simply" install FreePBX - there 
are a lot of dependencies, last I tried.
