When I did a "df" on astlinux 0.45 there were about 61MB used and 5MB 
free on the CF card. I used a 128MB card, but since this is an image 
the rest of the space is "wasted". I had added a few small binaries for 
trying pppoe which is still a mystery to me, but normally you would 
have a little more free space I guess.

I doubt you will get by with a 32MB card unless you remove some stuff 
first. The developers might be able to tell you what can go.
