Thank you for pointing out the net5501. Sounds like it will be available in the March/April time frame, compared to the summer time frame for the WRAP follow-on. I guess it's safe to assume AstLinux 0.5 will be supporting those two upcoming platforms. I was poking around looking for VIA based devices similar to the Soekris and WRAP though, but it seems an awful lot of VIA stuff that an ordinary consumer can buy has unnecessary stuff, like VGA, PS/2, and extra serial ports. Do people here have any particular VIA recommendations for a WRAP style board with 3 ethernet ports and a miniPCI slot, preferably fanless with a CF slot? > Hi, > > Soekris has net4801's with no EOL issues mentioned on their website. > Maybe they stocked up on the SC1100? > > Also, coming sometime in 2007... > net5501, 433 to 600 Mhz AMD Geode LX > http://www.soekris.com/net5501.htm > > Lonnie > > > On Feb 19, 2007, at 12:09 AM, ast...@el... wrote: > >> Hi all, >> >> >> I am fooling around with a WRAP board now, but I was thinking about >> maybe >> getting other similar hardware.
