 9133i stations=2E Yes=2C I suspected that the 9133i can only work with ala=
w=2C ulaw and g729 although there *is* an option on the http configuration=
 page of the set itself that suggests it can use more codecs than just thes=
e =28there is a =27Use basic codecs=27 tick box which seems to imply that b=
y unticking=2C it can use more=29=2E=20

What I=27m trying to achieve is good call quality with reduced bandwidth co=
nsumption so I would like to try g729 - would anyone recommend a g729 codec=
 =28free and open-source preferably=29=3F I=27ve heard that Intel have a fr=
ee g729 codec but have also heard that there are problems with its stabilit=
y=2E Does anyone have experience with it since my Astlinux box has been roc=
k-solid and has never - so far - crashed=3F
