OK, I'm sounding like a commercial for Metrix, but this is cool:

a Soekris 4801 single board computer. It comes with a compact flash card 
pre-loaded with AstLinux an embedded linux distro designed specifically for

My only connection to Metrix is I like Pyramid Linux, and use it in all of my 
routers and WAPs.
